Thermal Baths
Welcome to our brand-new thermae set in a unique location - the Boetfort Castle estate - where you can relax and enjoy yourself to your heart's content in a range of saunas, baths, relaxation areas, etc.

• The thermal baths are open daily (seven days a week) from 10.30 am until midnight.
• You can make use of both thermal complexes (Moenia and Curia) without a surcharge, as long as you comply with the rules on clothing.
• Bathrobes and towels must be used in the thermal baths.
• For hygienic reasons, a swim short is not allowed in the thermal baths Curia. For men only a bathing slip is allowed.
• Persons under 18 must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

You can use your Multi-thermae session card or Multi-thermae subscription at both Thermae Boetfort and Thermae Grimbergen.
Bathrobes and towels must be worn in the thermal baths. You can hire these here or bring them with you.
You can choose between two extensive thermal complexes. In the Moenia thermal baths you can take your cure naked, while the Curia thermal baths are intended for those who prefer to relax in a swimsuit.

Moenia - Nude part

Discover these superb thermae where you can take your cure naked. You can relax for hours here and enjoy the extensive facilities.

• Stable sauna: this sauna is located in the old castle stables. The setting creates a typical, cosy atmosphere.
• Salt stone sauna: come and relax amidst the superb colours of the salt stones. The salts that are released when heated have a curative effect on the bronchial tubes, among other things.
• Eucalyptus sauna: in this spacious, traditional Finnish sauna you can enjoy the beneficial effects of eucalyptus.
• Icehouse sauna: this sauna has been installed in the old icehouse of the castle. This peaceful location is half underground.
• Mine sauna: this beautifully decorated underground sauna evokes the coalmines of yesteryear.
• Steam bath
• Footbath with heated benches
• Heated outdoor swimming pool (32°C) with jacuzzi (36°C) in the centre
• Jacuzzi (36°C)
• Herb bath (36°C)
• Relaxation area and heated reclining seats
• Rest area
• Outdoor terrace with reclining seats
• Warm showers with shampoo and shower gel
• Cold showers to cool off after a sauna or a steam bath
• Cold bath

I already went there once, this amazing place is an old castle that was completely renovated and transformed into a thermal center, nearby Brussels.

It has two parts, one Nude part (Moenia), and a smaller textile part (Curia).  Strangely enough, I only visited the Moenia part    
When I went there the first time, it was a complete discovery.  I already went to some swimming pool or sport center saunas before, but those bare absolutely no comparaison with this place.  Totally dedicated to relaxation and wellness, I was not witness of any misplaced behaviour.



This is the same company that have been maintaining the smaller but really cosy Thermae Grimbergen center which I would also recommand for someone looking for (clothing-optional) relaxation time around the capital of Belgium.
