Permissions fubar?

It appears permissions are somewhat broken, as I seem to have full read/post access to forums I do not usually have access to, including the administration area and more, namely  . While I do not mind it not being rectified  , I am sure some of the ladies here would definitely prefer this to be changed. Or was this planned all along and I just spilled the beans? If so, telling me that beforehand might have helped.

What permissions do you have?  As N Forum veteran I do not see the permissions you mention.

I have the same thing as Delta. I think it's because of the new teen section that was added. You might have given users more access accidently.

Right, everythings switched back, teen memers could see the girls section. Todd do you know why this was?

OK thanks!!!!  I do need to make one comment, and I hope it doesn't come across wrong (I might sound like a manager or something, but hey that's what I do for a living).

This is the second time I've become aware of a security breach in the girls only area, there may have been more. Both times I have caught it, it involved members on here (who shall remain nameless) who in my opinion should know better. I understand curiosity about what might be in that section, but just because someone has access rights to an area does not mean they should take advantage of that access knowing full well they're not supposed to be in there.

If someone is curious about an area that is technically off-limits they should ask questions in an open, all-access forum. For example, I don't have access rights to the 19- and under forum. If I really need to know what's going on in there I'll ask.......

But the rules discussion and the trashcan are still visible. Not that they are capable of causing as much discomfort as the girls club, but if they used to be hidden, I am sure there was a reason for it. Also, write access appears to be possible, as a "new topic" button appears and takes me to a form. I have not tried submitting anything for obvious reasons, namely that I am not supposed to, but I am sure that if I tried, I could.
And Christine, just be glad I reported it instead of just sending PMs to other guys here.

Well in this instance I don't know what happened. With the creation of the new Teen Section Member Group someone must have clicked  it to let it have access to the Girls Only Section. I do not know who did this, but it was not me. It had to be someone with administrative access

Also, in the teen forum, there isn't much activity so far as it is only day 2, but I would make sure that is never written aboot in that Section. It is one of the rules, to respect everyone here on the forum and we uphold that in our New Section highy :)

Probably just an honest mistake...... like I said, I'm a manager at work so I tend to immediately look for causes and corrective actions......
